Sylt - Die Insel
More Than An Island
Sylt is more than an island. For many regular visitors, it’s a philosophy. Those who visit Sylt once will certainly come back.
Despite being less than 100 km², Germany’s northernmost island offers a fascinating array of nature: roaring surf on the west side with nearly 40 km of beach and unspoiled dunes and the calm Wadden Sea, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the east with lush green dykes. Cyclists may choose from over 200 km of routes. There are 12 wonderful villages all with their unique charm, and more than 200 restaurants, reaching from a casual bistro at the beach to gourmet restaurants. Sylt is a paradise for families, solo travelers, daydreamers, night owls, athletes, nature lovers, and gourmets.
