Barbara Heinbockel has been head of Digital Management at the Schleswig-Holstein Tourism Agency since 2019. Together with her team, she designs the digital communication of the travel destination Schleswig-Holstein: from online marketing to social media channels and open data in tourism. The communications expert learned her trade in a communications agency. There she specialized in the development and implementation of digital strategies. Based in Kiel she is enthusiastic about digital processes that make life easier. After working in the mobility industry and medical technology, Barbara Heinbockel found a new “anchorage” in the destination marketing of the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein.
