Hardy Krüger jr.

Actor, author, photographer & globetrotter
Born in Lugano, at home in the world. Hardy Krüger jr. spent his childhood at the HATARI Lodge in Tanzania. To this day, the actor, writer, photographer and globetrotter fosters a very special relationship with the African continent. The vast steppes of the Serengeti are his home, the wilderness and life in the bush fill him with life in its most raw form - one with nature, beautiful and yet so fragile.

A fair, sustainable and just world is close to his heart: As a UNICEF ambassador he is committed against child prostitution and was awarded the "Kind-Award 2006" for his commitment. As patron of the nature, animal and environmental film festival NaturVision, he is committed to the preservation of biological diversity.
He knows the African continent like the back of his hand - from Congo to South Africa, from Tanzania to Namibia. What a journey to this special continent does to us, moves in us, changes in us - this is what Hardy Krüger jr. tells us in his talk "VOICE4AFRICA - Why we should travel to Africa now".

Hardy Krüger jr. will discuss the serious consequences of the travel shutdown caused by COVID-19 for animal and nature conservation and numerous existences of people in tourism in African countries together with Hanna Kleber, initiator of VOICE4AFRICA, and Africa experts Johannes Soeder from Akwaba Afrika and Caspar Venter from Venter Tours.
