Johannes Soeder

Johannes Soeder was born in 1986 in Greifswald and visited Africa for the first time as an au pair in 2005. While still studying African Studies and Anthropology in Leipzig and Halle, he and David Heidler founded the certified sustainable travel company Akwaba Africa in 2014 and a car rental company in Tanzania in 2018. One of his greatest motivations is to represent the beauty of the continent without clichés and to create a dialogue at eye level with Africa. He is very concerned about the presentation of Africa in the media and the current situation for African companies.
