Born in 1987 in the north of Germany, he grew up in the periphery of East Friesland and was drawn out into the world by his restlessness after graduating from high school. He got stuck in Flensburg, where he has since worked as a journalist for a German-Danish daily newspaper (that is if he isn't making new acquaintances over a cold drink in remote corners of the world).
