Michael Riegel

Before founding Comtravo, Michael Riegel was leading the operations at the home services marketplace Homejoy in San Francisco, which was eventually taken over by Google. During his time, he was responsible for the expansion and performance of all North American & European markets. Before that, from 2011 until 2014 Michael was Co-Founder and Head of Business Development at Wimdu, where he drove the international roll-out of the business. He opened offices in London, San Francisco and Hong Kong and led the global country management and focused on supply operations.

Michael graduated from the MBA class of 2011 at the Kellogg School of Management known for providing a greater understanding of cross-cultural trade and business practices. He obtained a Masters degree in International Management from LSE and a Bachelor in Business Administration from WHU. As part of an exchange, Michael also spent time at the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore and at University of Southern California.
